Why Most Accounts Don’t Grow on X (And How to Fix It)

If you’ve been posting on X and barely seeing any growth, you’re not alone.

Most people waste months (or years) posting into the void without getting the engagement they want.

They post valuable content, but…

❌ No one sees it
❌ No one engages
❌ No one follows

It feels like shouting into an empty room.

Meanwhile, other accounts—some with worse content than yours—are growing fast.

So, what’s going wrong?

The 3 Reasons Most Accounts Stay Stuck

If you’re not growing on X, it usually comes down to these three things:

1. No One Knows You Exist

Most people post and hope people will find them.

But Twitter (X) doesn’t work like that.

It rewards quality AND quantity. If you’re not:

✅ Posting great tweets
✅ Posting lots of tweets
✅ Building a network through comments

… then your tweets aren’t getting seen.

The fix: Spend 20-30 minutes a day building connections in your niche. Spend the rest of the time working on your own tweets.

2. Your Tweets Aren’t Hooking People

Most people scroll fast on X.

If your first line doesn’t stop them, they’ll never read the rest.

This is why your hooks matter more than your content.

❌ Weak hook: "5 things I learned this year."
✅ Strong hook: "I wasted 3 years making these mistakes—don’t do the same."

The fix: Start every tweet with a hook that stops the scroll.

If your tweets don’t look ‘sexy’, no one will stop to read them.

Avoid big paragraphs.

Avoid having the ‘Show More’ section for your tweets. People don’t care enough - not yet.

Use a space between each sentence so it’s easier on the eye to read.

If you do this, then your tweets will become sexy.

But is that enough?

No.

The tweets also need to have great content, but people will at least read what you have to say.

3. Your Profile Isn’t Optimised

Even if people like your tweets, they won’t follow you if your profile isn’t clear.

Ask yourself:

✅ Does your bio instantly tell people what you do?
✅ Does your pinned tweet show the value you provide?
✅ Does your profile picture look professional & clear?

If not, you’re aren’t going to get followers.

I see so many accounts which look more boring than the crypto bots.

Why should people follow you?

Who are you?

Why should they care?

Tell them!

The fix: Make your profile immediately tell people:

1. Who you help

2. What you help them with

3. Why they should follow you

Example from an expert (me):
📌I make traders profitable faster. Entrepreneur | Trader | YouTuber. Teaching trading. Follow for strategies.

Now that’s a sexy bio!

The Pinned Tweet

This drives me crazy!

Lot’s of things do actually, but here are the two things on X which will ruin your account:

1️⃣ No pinned tweet
2️⃣ A bad pinned tweet

Why on Earth would you not have a pinned tweet! If people like what you have to say, then they will check our your profile.

They will look at your picture & bio. Then they will scroll down and see your pinned tweet.

You want it to be good. In fact, you want it to be great. You want it to be your best tweet. Showcase your best work so people can actually see it.

Here’s the thing: it’s not hard to grow on X. I went from 0 to 10k X followers in 4 months! Crazy but doable.

So implement these tips and watch your account EXPLODE.
